Yoghurt chia seed pudding

Despite there small size, chia seeds are full of important nutrients. They are an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, and they provide fiber, iron, and calcium. Omega 3 fatty acids, help raise HDL cholesterol, which is a good cholesterol that protects against heart attack and stroke.



Chia seed pudding is a healthy and easy breakfast option for those constantly on the go. Make your very own Village Dairy chia seed pudding with our quick and simple recipe!


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup plain greek yoghurt

  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds

  • ½ cup of milk of choice

  • A dash of vanilla extract

  • A dash of cinnamon

  • Stevia (optional)


Method:

Add all ingredients into a bowl and stir together. Add a preferred sweetener for taste such as stevia (optional). Cover and place in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight. Add your choice of fruit and topping.
