Ingredients:
1 tsp of butter
1 onion, chopped
½ bell pepper, chopped
100 g of paneer cheese, grated
3 slices of processed cheese or mozzarella, grated
1 tsp of chili paste
2 tsp of chili powder
½ tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of cumin powder
1 tsp of corriander powder
2 tbsp of coriander leaves
2 tsp of all-purpose flour
50 ml of water
Bread crumbs
Oil
Salt
Method:
Heat the pan and add butter. Once melted, add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook well.
Add the paneer cheese and chili paste. Continue to cook for few minutes then set aside to cool down.
Add a pinch of salt, 1 tsp of chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander leaves and processed cheese to the mixture. Mix well.
Shape the mixture into bite-sized pieces and set them aside.
In a separate bowl, mix water, all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of chili powder and a pinch of salt together to form a paste.
Coat the bite-sized pieces with the paste and roll it in bread crumbs. Repeat this process a few times per piece.
Deep fry the croquettes in medium heat until they turn golden brown. Place the croquettes onto kitchen towels to soak access oil.
Serve and enjoy the delicious paneer croquettes!
