Yoghurt is rich in zinc, lactic acid, b vitamins and probiotics that nourish the hair follicles and waken sleeping hair follicles by promoting hair growth. Eggs and olive oil also contain protein and fatty acids that will assist in hair growth.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons yoghurt
1 egg
1 teaspoon olive oil
Directions:
Throw all your ingredients into a blender and blend until you get a smooth consistency. Onto wet hair, massage the hair mask in gentle circular motions. Cover your hair with a shower cap as you wait for the mask to sink deep. After 10 - 15 minutes, rinse your hair thoroughly using cold water. Do not rinse hot water as this will cook the eggs in your mask.
Condition & shine mask
Yoghurt is super moisturizing as it contains healthy fatty acids and moisture which will plump up dry hair cells. Coconut oil and avocado are two other ingredients that will also help in moisturizing your hair.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Village Natural Yoghurt
1 teaspoon coconut oil
½ an avocado
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until you get a smooth consistency, without any lumps. Massage the hair mask onto your scalp and slather it onto your hair especially at the ends. Wait for about 10 - 15 minutes for the hair mask to sink in. When the time is up, rinse off thoroughly with cold water. Dry your hair.
