3 savoury yoghurt dips that you need to make this Summer!

Tzatziki:



You will need:


  • ¾ Village Dairy Middle Eastern Style Yoghurt

  • 2 garlic cloves crushed

  • 1 cup of shredded/grated cucumber

  • 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons of fresh mint and or dill finely chopped

  • 1 ½ teaspoons of lemon juice

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:


Mix together and serve!


Tzatziki is the perfect refreshing dip to have with pita bread in a wrap and or red meat. Make it with our Middle Eastern Style Yoghurt for a thick creamy base.


Spicy Yoghurt Sauce:


You will need:


  • Greek yoghurt

  • Sriracha

Instructions:


Mix together and serve!


Perfect to add to Mexican and Spanish cuisines along with a simple way to spice up your roast vegetables (excuse the pun).


Bacon and Onion Yoghurt Dip:


You will need:


  • 8 slices of bacon

  • 1 large white onion

  • 2 cups of Village Dairy Greek Yoghurt

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder

  • ¼ teaspoon of mustard powder

Instructions:

  • Over a medium heat pan and cook the bacon until desired crispiness is achieved. Once cooled chop finely

  • Thinly slice the onion and place onto the pan to cook. Cook until softened and slightly charred.

  • In a bowl place greek yoghurt, chopped bacon, cooked onions, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cumin and mustard powder. Mix together until combined.

  • Serve and enjoy!

This yoghurt dip is great to enjoy with crackers and cheese on a balmy night with friends. Full of flavour it can also be added to sandwiches for an extra punch.
